When picking the type for my project,
I decided that a thick sans serif would mimic the shapes we see in our modern urban architecture. I did try a few combinations of using a more organic feeling type faces, but ultimately decided on a thick and clean typeface.
When picking photography for this project, sticking with beautifully shot, clean black-and-white photography. To keep interest in the magazine, I utilized a bright red to bring attention to important or notable parts of the magazine.
